Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare Review
Having finally managed to download the bumper 1.7GB DLC I’ve been playing both the single and multiplayer modes and wanted to post my thoughts to help inform your decision on whether to spend your hard earned cash on the pack. I’ll state at the outset that the single player mode is the star of show so I’ll look first at the multiplayer mode to get that out of the way.
Multiplayer
I have to say the multiplayer Undead Overrun mode was somewhat underwhelming. I’m not sure what I expected from it really, but I thought it would be better. Maybe the endless hours of playing Zombies on Call of Duty: WaW has spoiled me but I had hoped for something more in that vein. Unfortunately Undead Overrun is really nothing special, although at least some of my existing concerns were alleviated by the fact that the matchmaking worked well. Selecting the new mode from the multiplayer menu takes you to a class choosing area and teams you up with others from outside my own free roam session so you can get a game going fairly quickly.
